No internet

Still no internet, but a BT engineer is coming tomorrow. Meanwhile, happy birthday to Ray and Nina. It is indeed a busy time for birthdays. As the faithful and diligent among you will know, it was my birthday yesterday. I am now exceedingly old.

I went to the pub with Suzy, Lauren and Dave on Friday night to start the celebrations nice and early. I had a great time and we all had a good laugh. It wasn’t all just entertainment though, we learned things too. For example, according to Suzy, £5 wouldn’t get you a nipple tickle. £17.50, on the other hand, will.

On Saturday, Suzy, John, Sam, Lee and Debbie were all here. I got some very nice pressies – a billion dangly earrings, a couple of books, clothing, DVDs and some vouchers – correct pronunciation: vaaahchas. I must now update my birthday list into a Christmas list!
