8 is 5, not 4

Err, yeah, size 8 needles are equivalent to 5mm needles, not 4mm. So, we’ll call this one a baby hat, rather than a toddler hat. Still, it’ll be a pretty funky Mongolian baby who wears this hat, dontcha think? I like how my knitting never quite comes out as expected. It makes me feel eclectic.

Now I’m just waiting (impatiently) for the wool I’ve bought from Ebay and from Em’s Stitches. It’s more of that gorgeous chunky stuff I’ve made hats and a tabard from. But it’s not here yet.

Nope, still hasn’t arrived.
