Greetings from Quito! Some things you should know:

  • I need some food
  • The drivers here are crazy
  • I’ve visited the equator
  • I caught the sun a bit today
  • Llamas make funny noises
  • Water drains straight down at the equator
  • I’ve got to get up early tomorrow and fly to the Galapagos Islands
  • I just discovered there’s a “ñ” on this keyboard
  • The punctuation marks are scattered hither and yon
  • All children should be sedated on long-haul flights
  • I’m tired.
  • It’s actually 20.15 here on the 3rd June. At home, it’s 02.15 on the 4th June.
