i habs in kalender gschaut … heut geht der wind*
9 January 2007
Back from the post office, looking somewhat windswept.
I wanted to write something about resolutions at the beginning of the year – or, as I prefer to call them: intentions. However, I couldn’t really decide what I should intend … nope, I’m still not entirely sure. The clearest idea that came to me over Christmas was when I watched Pirates of the Caribbean on Boxing Day and decided that I wanted to be a pirate. Or perhaps just Jack Sparrow’s buxom wench. Other than that, I’ve not felt hugely inspired. I have a few ideas, such as learning how to knit a kids jumper for the Dulaan Project, rather than just hats and scarves, and learning some good things from the photography book Lauren gave me. Maybe it’s this stupid cold that’s destroying my intention-making neurons one by one. I’m certainly enjoying the luxury of being able to breathe through my nose again, but my head still feels like it’s going to explode any minute.
* I’ve looked at the calendar … today the wind’s blowing.
