7 Days – Day 6: New boots
19 June 2008
A new pair of boots. They are in fact remarkably like the boots I already have. Except these are a bit different. They’ve been made by a shoemaker named Marsha Hall. She had a last made of my feet and made these boots to replace the pair I have that are falling apart to an almost “my God, where are Social Services?”-degree. I’m incredibly nervous of them at the moment, as having new boots that actually fit and keep my feet dry feels quite strange.

Sassy! I especially like the bands across the top of the boot. I had some shoes like that and loved them because it makes them interesting.
I have a pair of boots that shock and amaze me that they’re still wearable. I swear to Dog, I wore those things at least 3x a week all winter long. I hope I can find a pair just like them for next winter.

A Good Boot Is (Very) Hard To Find.

I heart your boots. They’re just like the boots I bought in the Fall and wore almost every day all winter long. I swear as soon as I put those boots on I felt assertive and great :) They were kick-ass boots :) But Alberta Winters are tough on boots and they won’t last another winter :( I hope I can find another pair I feel as good in. I hope you feel as good in yours!

These are fantastic! I love boots. I would love to have a pair of cowboy boots made to my feet. The perfect fitting pair of boots. A total dream.
