Where I’ll be in July

This is the flyer for Hubert von Goisern’s Linz Europe Harbour Festival, taking place in Linz from 3rd – 5th July 2009.

The photo used in the poster made by European Capital of Culture Linz 09 is one I took at the concert I attended in Cologne, when Hubert was sailing the Rhine with his concert boat on year two of his Linz Europe Tour.

The Harbour Festival this year forms the grand finale of the tour, bringing together all the musicians Hubert met and with whom he played on the rivers between the Black Sea and the North Sea.

Suzy and I will be there for the whole festival. I’ll probably be weighed down with camera, lenses and laptop and probably a bit sun-burned. Suzy will probably … be looking for food.

That sounds like some big adventurous fun there! I think that’s an awesome idea for a tour too… taking a boat (ship) up and down a river and playing from it at each stop.

And nice job on the poster!
