I have learned German, all.of.my.life. Its been YEARS since my last German class, yet when I was trying to teach English to Spanish-speaking people, all my German sentences were formulating in my head. I remembered vocabulary I had long-ago forgotten. . .

But get this! When I went to Taiwan. . .I began formulating SPANISH sentences. I can barely say “hello” in Spanish! What’s the deal?
