7 Days: Day 5 – Dinner

Not even for the birds. The birds in the front garden are very neat and always pick up the seed they drop from the feeder in the tree. However in the back garden it’s quite another story, with seed and seed cases scattered on the grass beneath the feeders. It resulted in a sunflower growing in the nearby flower bed last year. I picked the head when the flower was finished and put it in a paper bag to later gather the seed. Only, the bag has disappeared into thin air, somewhat scuppering my plan. Damn sunflower-stealing poltergeists.
